MA Timeline

The Master’s of Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching at King’s College London is an intense 1-year course beginning in September and culminating with the dissertation deadline in September the following year.

This is my timeline in the 2023-24 cohort, giving an overview of the key dates in the course with a specific focus on the dissertation.

    Start of 5 weeks of Qualitative Research methods classes

  • January 16th 2024
    Start of 5 weeks of Quantitative Research methods classes

  • February 15th 2024
    Dissertation proposal workshop

  • March 1st 2024
    Data collection and retention workshop for MA dissertations

  • March 22nd 2024
    Dissertation proposal deadline

  • April 29th 2024
    Assigned a dissertation supervisor

  • May 1st 2024
    First meeting with dissertation supervisor

  • June 10th 2024
    Today

  • June 6th 2024
    Dissertation Writing Workshop
